Employing over 1,500 employees, we strive to exceed customer expectations by providing the highest quality machines and the very best customer support and service.  We have an excellent opportunity for a Field Service Manager-Latin America. This position will service Commercial Laundry Equipment in Latin America. This candidate will be based within the Mexico, South America, or South Florida (Miami) region.

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for providing service policy and training on all Alliance Laundry Systems products to authorized distributors.  The Regional Field Service Manager will act as a liaison between factory and field on matters relating to service, service parts and warranty items to ensure a high level of customer service to support Customer One initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures adequate service and conducts service training in assigned region to better support authorized distributors of ALS products.
• Visits and corresponds with Alliance distributors and uses knowledge of all ALS products, past and present, to solve problems and answer questions.
• Documents information regarding product performance and reports activities of competitive manufacturers and potential product problems.
• Assures compliance with established Company safety programs.
• Responsible for assisting in formulating depositions in lawsuits and investigates damage claims.

Qualifications

Technical college degree in mechanical field

• Minimum 5 years experience servicing laundry equipment.
• Demonstrated mechanical, electrical and electronic ability.
• Experience in the use of voltage-ohm meters and manometers.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers and deal with conflict.  Able to effectively share information with ALS management, written and oral.
• Able to conduct group training seminars effectively..
• Ability to fluently speak/write English and local language.
• Ability to travel internationally via plane or car.  Holds a valid passport in the country of residence with the ability to visit foreign countries including the US.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 70lb without assistance
